Lemon-infused Roasted Turkey Wings

Lemon-infused Roasted Turkey Wings

Ingredients:

  • 2.5 lbs turkey wings, sectioned if purchased whole
  • 1 large lemon, cut into 4 wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (substitute with vegetable oil if desired)
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp seasoning salt or salt-free seasoning
  • 1 tsp minced onions
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 2 1/2 cups turkey or chicken broth (or water)

Directions:

  1. Clean the turkey wings and rub all surfaces with lemon wedges.
  2. Place the wings in a large bowl or dish, then drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle all seasonings onto the wings, rubbing them evenly.
  4. Transfer wings to an oiled baking dish.
  5. In the bowl with leftover seasonings, add 2 1/2 cups of broth or water, stir, and pour into the baking dish.
  6. Cover the baking dish and bake wings at 350°F for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  7. Periodically remove wings, baste, and continue baking until golden and thoroughly cooked.
