Decadent Herb-Infused Butter for Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, blend the softened butter with minced garlic, finely chopped parsley, chives, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, and lemon zest.
  2. Ensure thorough mixing until all ingredients are evenly incorporated into the butter.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper, shaping it into a log.
  4. Wrap the butter tightly with the plastic wrap, sealing the ends securely.
  5. Chill the wrapped butter in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, allowing it to solidify.
  6. When ready to serve, slice the chilled butter into rounds and adorn your hot, grilled steaks with these flavorful medallions.
