Creamy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through and browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the skillet bottom to release any browned bits. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for approximately 5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  7. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, letting them absorb the creamy garlic sauce.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  9. Serve the creamy garlic chicken with your preferred side dish, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
