Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms

Indulge in the exquisite flavors of these delectable Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms. Crafted with a selection of uncomplicated yet premium ingredients, these appetizers promise a burst of taste that’s simply irresistible.

Ingredients:

  • 32 medium-sized white button mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can crabmeat
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Serves 6 to 8

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet. Set aside.
  2. Gently wipe clean the mushrooms with a wet paper towel. Remove the stems and gills, finely chopping both.
  3. In a sauté pan over medium heat, add oil. Once warm, add diced onion, minced garlic, and finely chopped mushroom stems and gills. Sauté for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Combine oregano, basil, thyme, cream cheese, sour cream, Mozzarella cheese, and crabmeat with the sautéed mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap.
  6. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of each stuffed mushroom and bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, and serve. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
