Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms
Indulge in the exquisite flavors of these delectable Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms. Crafted with a selection of uncomplicated yet premium ingredients, these appetizers promise a burst of taste that’s simply irresistible.
Ingredients:
- 32 medium-sized white button mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon finely diced onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (4 oz.) can crabmeat
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Serves 6 to 8
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking sheet. Set aside.
- Gently wipe clean the mushrooms with a wet paper towel. Remove the stems and gills, finely chopping both.
- In a sauté pan over medium heat, add oil. Once warm, add diced onion, minced garlic, and finely chopped mushroom stems and gills. Sauté for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Combine oregano, basil, thyme, cream cheese, sour cream, Mozzarella cheese, and crabmeat with the sautéed mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon the mixture into each mushroom cap.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top of each stuffed mushroom and bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Remove from the oven, and serve. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley.
