Chili Dog Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 8 hotdogs, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 (15 oz) cans of chili (with beans)
  • 3/4 cup of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1 (28 oz) bag of frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the hotdog slices, chili, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with 1 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Arrange the tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the baked casserole and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly crispy.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
