Ultimate Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole
Cheeseburger French Fry Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (16 oz) package frozen french fries
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked beef. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until onion is softened.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, then remove skillet from heat.
- Spread condensed cheddar cheese soup evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Layer cooked ground beef mixture on top of the soup layer.
- Arrange frozen french fries in a single layer over the ground beef mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the french fries.
- Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until cheese is melted, bubbly, and french fries are crispy.
- Let casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve hot, garnished with optional toppings as desired.
