Lemon-infused Roasted Turkey Wings
Lemon-infused Roasted Turkey Wings
Ingredients:
- 2.5 lbs turkey wings, sectioned if purchased whole
- 1 large lemon, cut into 4 wedges
- 2 tbsp olive oil (substitute with vegetable oil if desired)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tsp seasoning salt or salt-free seasoning
- 1 tsp minced onions
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp parsley flakes
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 2 1/2 cups turkey or chicken broth (or water)
Directions:
- Clean the turkey wings and rub all surfaces with lemon wedges.
- Place the wings in a large bowl or dish, then drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle all seasonings onto the wings, rubbing them evenly.
- Transfer wings to an oiled baking dish.
- In the bowl with leftover seasonings, add 2 1/2 cups of broth or water, stir, and pour into the baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish and bake wings at 350°F for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Periodically remove wings, baste, and continue baking until golden and thoroughly cooked.
