Dutch Baby Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Dish: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the butter into small pieces and place them in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Put the dish in the oven just until the butter melts.
- Make the Batter: While the butter is melting, blend the eggs, milk, flour, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla in a blender. Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Bake the Pancake: Remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter over the melted butter. Return the dish to the oven and bake for 22 minutes, or until the edges are puffed and golden brown.
- Serve: Cut the Dutch baby pancake into slices. Top with powdered sugar, syrup, whipped cream, fresh fruits, or your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
