Ingredients:
- 1 lb of smoked sausage, thinly sliced
- 4 cups of diced potatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a sizable skillet over medium heat, sauté the sausage and onion until the sausage achieves a golden brown hue and the onion turns translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, blend the cooked sausage and onion with the diced potatoes, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, milk, sour cream, melted butter, paprika, salt, and pepper.
