- 4 bone-in pork chops, approximately 1-inch thick
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Freshly chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the pork chops with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides and set them aside.
