Philly Cheesesteak Baked Tortellini

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package (19 oz) frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks, until it’s nicely browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Incorporate the sliced bell pepper and onion into the skillet, cooking until they turn tender and aromatic.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until they reach an al dente consistency. Drain and set aside.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef and vegetables with the cooked tortellini and beef broth. Stir gently to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the top with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
