Tender and Flavorful Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks of pork ribs (about 3-4 lbs each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Directions:

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a knife under it and pulling it off.
  2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the ribs, ensuring both sides are coated evenly.
  4. Place the ribs in a baking dish, cover with aluminum foil, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).
  5. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
  6. Bake the ribs, covered, for 3-4 hours or until they are tender and the meat falls off the bone.
  7. Remove the foil, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce, and broil for 5-7 minutes on each side until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
