Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds of fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: A pinch of red pepper flakes for added heat

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for optimal crispiness.
  2. Boil a large pot of salted water and briefly cook the broccoli florets until they brighten in color while remaining firm. Drain well to minimize moisture.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the drained broccoli with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring even coating.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then spread the broccoli evenly. Use a glass or cup to gently press down on each floret, creating a textured surface.
