Hot Fudge Brownie Bread
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, melt butter. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Spread batter into prepared pan. Drop hot fudge sauce by spoonfuls onto the batter, using a knife to swirl the sauce into the batter.
- Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if using.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the center is set but still soft. Do not overcook.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
