Homemade Rice Bread Recipe (No Oven Required)

Ingredients:

  • 200g rice flour
  • 230ml warm milk
  • 4g instant dry yeast
  • 20g sugar
  • 10g olive or sunflower oil
  • 3g salt

Instructions:

  1. Begin by dissolving the yeast and sugar in a bowl. Then, add the salt to the rice flour and combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Gradually incorporate the warm milk into the mixture, adjusting as needed based on the moisture content of the rice flour.
  3. Once mixed, add the olive oil and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Allow the dough to ferment in a warm place until it doubles in volume.
  5. After fermentation, stir the mixture to release any trapped gas bubbles.
  6. Heat a 20cm frying pan over medium heat for a few seconds.
  7. Grease the pan with cooking oil and pour the batter, spreading it evenly across the surface.
  8. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and let the dough ferment for an additional 20-30 minutes.
  9. Reduce the heat to low and cook the bread covered for 10-13 minutes, until the top is set.
  10. If the top of the bread becomes hardened, flip it onto a plate and return it to the pan to cook the other side for 5-6 minutes.
  11. Once cooked through, remove from the pan and serve.
