Decadent Chocolate Indulgence Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients like water, eggs, and oil)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare a 9×13 inch pan according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
  2. Bake the chocolate cake as directed on the package and let it cool slightly.
  3. While the cake is still warm, use the back of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  5. Warm the hot fudge sauce until pourable and drizzle it over the cake, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the fudge sauce.
  7. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the cake, creating a luscious frosting layer.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving to allow the flavors to meld together perfectly.
