Easy Slow Cooker Meatball Recipe

This simple slow cooker meatball recipe is my go-to for a delicious and effortless meal. With only three ingredients, it’s both quick and convenient.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (32-ounce) bag of frozen fully cooked meatballs
  • 1 (18-ounce) jar of grape jelly
  • 1 (18-ounce) bottle of barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Add Meatballs: Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and water. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Coat Meatballs: Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring all the meatballs are thoroughly coated.
  4. Cook:
    • Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 4 to 5 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
    • Alternatively, set the slow cooker to high heat and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Final Touches: Gently stir the meatballs to evenly distribute the sauce before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
  6. Serve: Serve the meatballs with toothpicks or small serving forks as an appetizer, or enjoy them as a main dish with your favorite sides.

Enjoy this simple and tasty dish with minimal effort!
