Easy Slow Cooker Meatball Recipe
This simple slow cooker meatball recipe is my go-to for a delicious and effortless meal. With only three ingredients, it’s both quick and convenient.
Ingredients:
- 1 (32-ounce) bag of frozen fully cooked meatballs
- 1 (18-ounce) jar of grape jelly
- 1 (18-ounce) bottle of barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup of water
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Preparation:
- Add Meatballs: Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
- Prepare Sauce: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the grape jelly, barbecue sauce, and water. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Coat Meatballs: Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring all the meatballs are thoroughly coated.
- Cook:
- Set the slow cooker to low heat and cook for 4 to 5 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce has thickened.
- Alternatively, set the slow cooker to high heat and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
- Final Touches: Gently stir the meatballs to evenly distribute the sauce before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
