Decadent Chocolate Indulgence Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 box of chocolate cake mix (plus required ingredients like water, eggs, and oil)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat your oven and prepare a 9×13 inch pan according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
- Bake the chocolate cake as directed on the package and let it cool slightly.
- While the cake is still warm, use the back of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Warm the hot fudge sauce until pourable and drizzle it over the cake, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the fudge sauce.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cake, creating a luscious frosting layer.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving to allow the flavors to meld together perfectly.
