Decadent Chocolate Cake Recipe

Decadent Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • For the Cake:
    • 4 eggs
    • 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
    • 2 tablespoons of butter
    • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups of granulated sugar
    • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
    • 1 cup of milk
  • For the Syrup:
    • 2 tablespoons of butter
    • 7 tablespoons of cocoa powder
    • 2 cans of heavy cream
    • 3 tablespoons of sugar

Instructions:

For the Cake:

  1. In a blender, combine eggs, cocoa powder, butter, flour, sugar, and milk. Blend for 5 minutes until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in the baking powder using a spatula.
  3. Grease a baking pan and pour in the batter.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

For the Syrup:

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
  2. Add the heavy cream and mix until creamy.
  3. Turn off the heat and stir in the sugar until dissolved.

Once the cake is baked, poke holes in the top and pour the syrup over it, allowing it to soak in. Serve and enjoy your indulgent chocolate cake!
