Ingredients:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 4 cups of confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 box (8 oz) of softened cream cheese
  • 1 small spoon of vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, thoroughly mix the cake mix, beaten eggs, and softened butter until well combined.
  3. Butter a 9×13-inch pan and press the cake batter evenly into it to create a cake layer.
  4. In another mixing bowl, combine confectioner’s sugar, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese and frosting mixture evenly over the cake batter in the pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
  7. Allow the baked squares to cool completely before cutting into even portions.
