Cream Cheese Squares
Ingredients:
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup of softened butter
- 4 cups of confectioner’s sugar
- 1 box (8 oz) of softened cream cheese
- 1 small spoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, thoroughly mix the cake mix, beaten eggs, and softened butter until well combined.
- Butter a 9×13-inch pan and press the cake batter evenly into it to create a cake layer.
- In another mixing bowl, combine confectioner’s sugar, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese and frosting mixture evenly over the cake batter in the pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes.
