Chili Dog Tater Tot Casserole
Ingredients:
- 8 hotdogs, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 (15 oz) cans of chili (with beans)
- 3/4 cup of ketchup
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 (28 oz) bag of frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the hotdog slices, chili, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with 1 cup of cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Arrange the tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the baked casserole and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
