Perfectly Baked Chicken Thighs
Ingredients:
- 6 bone-in chicken thighs, skin on (approximately 5-6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2-3 teaspoons chicken seasoning or Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a baking rack on top.
- Prepare Chicken: Pat dry the chicken thighs with paper towels to remove any moisture. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season generously with chicken seasoning (or Italian seasoning), salt, and pepper. Rub the seasonings evenly over each thigh.
- Bake: Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs on the prepared baking rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (75 degrees Celsius).
- Broil (Optional): For a crispy skin, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
