Luscious Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
  • Orange food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until well combined.
  3. Mix in the melted white chocolate chips, orange extract, and orange zest until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until firm enough to shape.
  5. Scoop the mixture into small balls and roll them in the graham cracker crumbs to coat.
  6. Melt the additional white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  7. If desired, add a few drops of orange food coloring to the melted white chocolate and stir until evenly colored.
  8. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate to coat, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Allow the truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
