Luscious Orange Creamsicle Truffles
Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for coating)
- Orange food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until well combined.
- Mix in the melted white chocolate chips, orange extract, and orange zest until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour, or until firm enough to shape.
- Scoop the mixture into small balls and roll them in the graham cracker crumbs to coat.
- Melt the additional white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- If desired, add a few drops of orange food coloring to the melted white chocolate and stir until evenly colored.
- Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate to coat, then place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Allow the truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
