Exquisite Homemade Bread: Softness Perfected
Indulge in the Delight of Soft, Fluffy Homemade Bread
Ingredients:
- 5 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, melted
- 100 grams of clarified butter (ghee)
- 1 egg yolk
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, dry yeast, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, melted butter, clarified butter (ghee), and milk. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Divide the dough into four equal parts.
- Roll out each portion of dough into a thin sheet.
- Brush the surface of each sheet with melted butter and roll it into a tight cylinder.
- Allow the rolled dough to rest for 30 minutes.
- After resting, roll each cylinder again and brush with additional melted butter. Roll them into tight rolls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Score the tops with cuts.
- Let the rolls rest for another hour to rise.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush each roll with the egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
