Exquisite Homemade Bread: Softness Perfected

Indulge in the Delight of Soft, Fluffy Homemade Bread

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, melted
  • 100 grams of clarified butter (ghee)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, dry yeast, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, melted butter, clarified butter (ghee), and milk. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into four equal parts.
  3. Roll out each portion of dough into a thin sheet.
  4. Brush the surface of each sheet with melted butter and roll it into a tight cylinder.
  5. Allow the rolled dough to rest for 30 minutes.
  6. After resting, roll each cylinder again and brush with additional melted butter. Roll them into tight rolls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Score the tops with cuts.
  7. Let the rolls rest for another hour to rise.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  9. Brush each roll with the egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
