Exquisite Hawaiian Banana Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of softened butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 very ripe banana, mashed
- 1 cup of crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of shredded coconut
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.
- Stir in the mashed banana and crushed pineapple until evenly combined.
- In a separate medium-sized bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the shredded coconut until distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
