Creamy Lemon Garlic Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked; set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the chicken is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
