Chocolate Cream Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 cup of milk
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 packet each of baking powder and vanilla extract (optional)
- Cup size: 200 ml
For the Cream:
- 2 packs of whipped cream
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate spread
To Wet the Cake:
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 teaspoons of instant coffee
Instructions:
Prepare the Cake:
- Preheat the oven to the required baking temperature.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
- Gradually add the oil, milk, and cocoa powder to the egg mixture, mixing well after each addition.
- Sift in the flour and mix until smooth.
- Optionally, add the baking powder and vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
- Bake according to the cake recipe instructions or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
Prepare the Cream:
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the whipped cream as per package instructions.
- Add the milk, cocoa powder, and chocolate spread to the whipped cream, and mix until smooth.
Assemble the Cake:
- Slice the cooled cake horizontally into two layers.
- Place one layer on a serving plate or cake stand.
- Moisturize the cake layer with the milk and coffee mixture using a pastry brush.
- Spread a generous amount of the prepared chocolate cream over the moistened cake layer.
- Place the second cake layer on top and repeat the process.
- Use the remaining chocolate cream to frost the top and sides of the cake evenly.
Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the cake for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cream to set.
