Coconut Cake Recipe

Ingredients for the Dough:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of melted margarine
  • 50 grams of grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Ingredients for the Syrup:

  • 200 ml of coconut milk (equivalent to 1 bottle available in the market)
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 50 grams of grated coconut

Instructions:

  1. Dough Preparation:
    • In a blender, combine all the dough ingredients until a smooth mixture is achieved.
    • Grease a baking pan and pour the mixture into it.
    • Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for approximately 40 minutes or until the cake turns golden brown.
  2. Syrup Preparation:
    • In a saucepan, bring the coconut milk, sugar, and grated coconut to a boil.
    • Stir continuously until the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Assembly:
    • Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
    • Pour the prepared syrup evenly over the warm cake.
    • Allow the cake to cool completely, allowing the syrup to set slightly.
  4. Enjoy:
    • Serve the cake and indulge in its delightful flavor.
