Decadent No-Bake Biscuit Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of plain Petit Beurre biscuits
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 100 g of dark chocolate
- For the topping:
- 250 ml of whipping cream
- 200 g of dark chocolate
Instructions:
- Begin by breaking the Petit Beurre biscuits into bite-sized pieces by hand.
- In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder. Stir well and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Once thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and add 100 g of dark chocolate and butter. Stir until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and incorporated into the mixture.
- Pour the prepared chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits in a mixing bowl. Gently fold until all the biscuits are evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
- Transfer the biscuit mixture into a mold and press down firmly using a spatula to create an even layer.
- In a separate bowl, heat the whipping cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and add 200 g of dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the biscuit layer in the mold, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 6 hours, or until set.
- Once set, remove the cake from the mold and slice into desired portions.
- Serve and enjoy this indulgent no-bake biscuit cake, and bon appétit to all who taste it!
Feel free to adjust the sweetness or chocolate intensity according to your preference. Happy baking!
