Decadent No-Bake Biscuit Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of plain Petit Beurre biscuits
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 100 g of dark chocolate
  • For the topping:
    • 250 ml of whipping cream
    • 200 g of dark chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Begin by breaking the Petit Beurre biscuits into bite-sized pieces by hand.
  2. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder. Stir well and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  3. Once thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and add 100 g of dark chocolate and butter. Stir until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and incorporated into the mixture.
  4. Pour the prepared chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits in a mixing bowl. Gently fold until all the biscuits are evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.
  5. Transfer the biscuit mixture into a mold and press down firmly using a spatula to create an even layer.
  6. In a separate bowl, heat the whipping cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and add 200 g of dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Pour the chocolate ganache over the biscuit layer in the mold, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 6 hours, or until set.
  9. Once set, remove the cake from the mold and slice into desired portions.
