Decadent Chocolate Squares

Ingredients:

  • 500g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 400g sugar
  • 1 sachet vanillin
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 445g almond milk
  • 75g oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar

For the Glaze:

  • 300g chocolate
  • 120g almond milk
  • Chocolate chips
  • Pistachios

Instructions:

1. Preparing the Dough:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, sugar, vanillin, and cocoa powder.
  2. Gradually add the almond milk, oil, and vinegar to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a rectangular baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for approximately 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

2. Making the Glaze:

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate with the almond milk, either over a double boiler or in the microwave, stirring until smooth.

3. Finishing Touches:

  1. Once the cake has cooled slightly, pour the chocolate glaze over the top, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  2. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pistachios over the glaze for added texture and flavor.

4. Serving:

Allow the chocolate squares to cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.
