Creamy Chicken Bacon Spinach Penne Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- Optional: red pepper flakes, for garnish
Directions:
- Cook the penne pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
- Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked penne pasta, crispy bacon, cooked chicken, and fresh spinach leaves to the skillet. Stir until the spinach is wilted and the ingredients are well combined.
- Serve the Creamy Chicken Bacon Spinach Penne warm, garnished with red pepper flakes if desired.
