Delicious Baked Creamy Bombs: A Professional Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500g of all-purpose flour
- 40g of granulated sugar
- 6g of salt
- 40g of soft butter
- 2 eggs
- 24g of dry yeast
- Custard
- Powdered sugar
- Egg yolk + milk
Instructions:
Step 1:
Begin by sifting the flour into a bowl. Add sugar, yeast, salt, eggs, and water. Mix thoroughly until a dough forms. Gradually incorporate the soft butter while kneading until the dough becomes smooth and non-sticky. Cover the dough with cling film and refrigerate for 10 hours.
Step 2:
After refrigeration, remove the dough and place it on a lightly floured surface. Gently roll it into a rectangle shape using a rolling pin. Fold one of the shorter sides inward, then close it with the other side. Cover the dough with a cloth and allow it to rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3:
Roll out the dough again into a rectangular shape, then cover it with a cloth and let it rest for another 5 minutes. After resting, roll out the dough to approximately 1cm thickness using a pastry cutter with a diameter of 10cm. Cut out discs from the dough.
Step 4:
Place the dough discs onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover them with a clean cloth and let them rise for 90 minutes. Brush the bombs with egg yolk + milk, then bake them at 175°C/347°F for 20 minutes. Optionally, fill them with custard and decorate with powdered sugar before serving.
